What is the difference between a bearing and a bushing?

Bushings are a category under the bearing category.

Bushings are thin tubes or sleeves that allow relative movement by means of sliding (our product type) as opposed to rolling. Bushings are also known as sleeve bearings. However, the term sleeve bearing is redundant. So a bushing is a bearing, but a bearing is not necessarily a bushing.

Bearings are friction components that allow relative motion of two components or surfaces, etc.
